UserVitals has now added a filter feature for Inbox, Insights, and Stories!
With filtering set in place, users can seamlessly sort through all their customer feedback. Multiple filters can be applied at once so that users can narrow down their search and find exactly what they're looking for.
Reading through feedback and analyzing it all may be difficult at times. But now with filtering, users can save time and better understand what feature requests are coming in and how to create a customer-centric product.
Additionally, users can search through Inbox Messages, Insights, and Stories by typing in any keywords. This allows users to easily find what they're looking for if they already have something particular in mind. With this feature, teams can feel reassured that even with an abundance of customer feedback coming in, they'll still be able to retrieve the data they need to make great product decisions.
Over the past few weeks, the UserVitals team has been thinking about how to improve the application's collaboration with other platforms. A key aspect of UserVitals is its ease of integration with our users' existing workflow, such as Slack, Intercom, and Gmail.
A task management application that the UserVitals team uses daily is Linear, which is an application that helps streamline software projects, sprints, tasks, and bug tracking. For users who use Linear with their teams to organize their workflow, now they can easily integrate it with their UserVitals activities. UserVitals will get connected with a user's Linear workspace, allowing seamless linking and creation of Linear tasks.
Directly within a Story's detail page in the admin portal, users can link their Stories to their Linear workspace. The Linear extension modal prompts users to add a title and description, then assign it to a team, project, and contact. After saving the submission, the task will immediately appear in Linear and it will show what story it's linked to and when it was created. That way, users can visit the UserVitals admin portal through the Linear task at any time. Also, within the Story's page, there will be a direct link to the Linear task as well. The ease of moving between the applications will provide users with a seamless task and product management system.
Additionally, users can link existing Linear tasks to a story. To do so, users simply need to search the title or description of the task and UserVitals will show a list of matches.
As UserVitals continued to consider how to make the application integrate seamlessly with our users' existing tools, we decided to work on a Zapier integration, which would allow practically unlimited personalized integrations. Zapier is an online platform that helps users automate workflows by connecting the apps and services they use. Now that UserVitals is connected to Zapier, users can automate a variety of tasks with any partner applications currently used their workflow.
In Zapier, it connects applications through creating Zaps that contain "Triggers" and "Actions". Each Zap has one app as the Trigger, where your information comes from and which causes one or more Actions in other apps, where your data gets sent automatically.
As of now, UserVitals has created 5 triggers that can be activated by users to automate their workflows. Users can customize the following triggers to generate actions in other partner applications.
The triggers currently available are:
For example, users can set up a Zap that sends an email notification to admins when a new story is created in the admin portal. This would make it easy for admins to stay up to date on the big picture and progress of feedback submissions.
Additionally, there are 3 actions that can be configured to take place when a trigger is fired from partner apps. Users can choose events that happen on partner integration, and link them to an action in UserVitals.
The actions currently available are:
For example, users can set up a Zap that creates a new inbox message whenever emails are sent to feedback@acme.com. This further streamlines feedback collection, on top of UserVital's existing feedback collection methods such as the customer portal and Chrome extension.
